Fulton will seek state treasurer position

Nebraska state senator said he wants to be the new state treasurer. Senator Tony Fulton of Lincoln made the announcement Thursday morning. The 37 year old Republican would replace Shane Osborn.
Osborn announced last month he is not seeking re–election.
Fulton has been a state senator since 2007 when he was appointed by Governor Heineman.
Besides being a lawmaker Fulton is an engineer and CEO of a home healthcare business.
